Building Pronunciation Dictionaries In this capacity, I have accumulated substantial experience in the development of pronunciation dictionaries across various semantic domains. Notably, I have collected and transcribed lexicons in fields such as Medical, Cricket, Business, Computer, Physics, and more, employing X-Sampa transliterations. Furthermore, I have extracted Given names, Surnames, and Village names from diverse sources and furnished them with IPA pronunciations. Defining Pronunciation Rules A significant aspect of my work involves defining pronunciation rules. I have specifically concentrated on Telugu pronunciation variations and expanded this focus to encompass the phonology and orthography mapping of Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tulu languages. Phonemic/Phonetic Transcriptions Within this realm, I have undertaken the preparation of English-Telugu transliteration rules for borrowed words. This includes addressing pronunciation variations present in Telugu, Hindi, and Indian English words. Validating Speech Training Data Ensuring the integrity and quality of speech training data has been one of my core responsibilities. I have conducted thorough validation procedures for transliterated files pertaining to Byjus and have transcribed audio files from TVS. Additionally, I have meticulously documented my findings, drawing from interviews with transcribers. My role has also encompassed quality assurance and review activities concerning transcription work executed by BYJU's, with a specific focus on Telugu audio data. Indic Languages In the domain of Indic languages, I have been actively involved in the study of Comparative Dravidian phonology. A notable accomplishment includes the preparation of a comprehensive comparative Dravidian phonetic chart. Furthermore, I have dedicated time and expertise to identifying Telugu morpheme boundaries, thereby contributing to the broader field of linguistic analysis and research. My experience in Indic languages is marked by a commitment to linguistic diversity and the development of resources to support these languages.

I have been actively involved in linguistic research and documentation, primarily focusing on the BONDO/REMO Language, an endangered language spoken in Odisha, India. My work involves in-depth field investigations to collect and document linguistic data. I am skilled in IPA transcription to ensure accurate phonetic representation. I have also developed comprehensive dictionaries to preserve the language's knowledge and cultural heritage. Additionally, I am proficient in using various linguistic tools, such as Praat, Cool Edit Pro, Audacity, Lexique Pro, FLEx, and Phonological Assistant. These tools enable me to conduct acoustic and phonological analysis and manage linguistic data efficiently.

I was tasked with teaching courses in Phonetics-II and Computational Linguistics-II to students enrolled in the M.A. Fourth Semester program. This involved creating and delivering comprehensive lectures, facilitating engaging class discussions, and providing guidance to students in these subjects.

Data Collection and Dialect Research Conducted extensive fieldwork to collect linguistic data from various regions across all districts in the Telugu-speaking areas. Collaborated with native speakers and local communities to record dialectal variations, linguistic features, and vocabulary specific to each district. Utilized various research methods, such as interviews, surveys, and audio recordings, to capture the nuances of regional speech. Data Analysis and Documentation Transcribed, categorized, and documented the collected dialectal data to create a comprehensive database of regional linguistic features. Analyzed linguistic patterns, phonetic distinctions, vocabulary differences, and grammatical variations across districts. Systematically organized the data to facilitate the development of a dialectal dictionary. Lexicography and Dictionary Preparation Compiled a Telugu dialectal dictionary, incorporating the linguistic variations and unique features identified in the collected data. Created entries for dialect-specific words, phrases, and expressions, including phonetic transcriptions and explanations of regional usage. Worked on defining and illustrating dialectal terms and linguistic phenomena for the dictionary.

Linguistic Adaptation Collaborated with native speakers, linguists, and educational experts to adapt the curriculum and educational materials to the phonetics, grammar, and vocabulary of each tribal language, respecting their unique linguistic characteristics. Cultural Sensitivity Ensured that the educational content respects and incorporates the cultural values, traditions, and knowledge of the respective tribal communities, making the learning experience culturally relevant and engaging. Multilingual Approach Promoted a multilingual education approach by providing educational materials in both the mother tongue and a regional or national language, enabling a smooth transition to other languages as students progress in their studies.
